Membership Overview

Looking for ways to make your foundation
More Efficient, Better Connected & More Knowledgeable?

For more than 40 years, the Southeastern Council of Foundations (SECF) has served as the premier membership association for grantmakers in our region by providing foundation leaders with the tools, resources and connections you need to do your best and most effective work toward fulfillment of your foundation's mission.

As an SECF member, you gain access to a virtually unlimited network of people, knowledge and possibilities that is unrivaled and unparalleled anywhere else. There are multiple ways to take advantage of all SECF has to offer: learn from print and online publications and research; engage in one-on-one conversations with veteran grantmakers virtually or in-person; take advantage of leadership and professional development programs; or discuss specific interests at one of SECF's many meetings or convenings throughout the region. The SECF Annual Meeting each November is legendary for its presenters, networking opportunities, and flow of ideas.

Our members tell us the regional connections, perspectives and events that SECF brings have proven to be incredibly valuable to their work at all levels of staff — a value that can't be found elsewhere. And that value becomes even stronger for everyone when you become a member.

In a rapidly changing world, being a member in SECF helps foundations make smarter decisions and deliver on your promises to your constituents in more relevant and meaningful ways.
